Experience
Joe has worked in both practice and industry during the course of his 25-year career. This enabled him to gain significant commercial and operational experience and insights into delivering an outsourced finance function. It also provided him with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by CFOs in today's changing business landscape and related complexity.
He heads up the Business Outsourcing Services division in the Dublin office. In particular, Joe enjoys getting to know a business and working with business owners and their management teams to create solutions unique to their challenges. Joe really likes to focus attention on streamlining processes, looking for efficiencies and deploying IT solutions, where appropriate. He is an advocate for creating an environment that values good corporate governance coupled with risk management procedures together with robust internal controls.
Joe has worked with a variety of clients, of all sizes, across various industry sectors including public sector, financial services, energy, health & medical services, information technology, retail, entertainment & hospitality, distribution entities.
Notable achievements
Significant practice experience auditing and advising companies across all stages of their life cycle from start up to their sale to new owners.
CFO experience and related commercial finance and financial reporting in a Public Limited Company (Plc) and Private Company (Owner Managed) environments. Was a member of the CFO leadership team for a large Irish Plc.
Has led large transformation technology projects to automate and scale processes across the entire finance function and treasury.
Co-ordinates the outsourcing of company secretarial services, payroll services, VAT services, management accounting and related accounting services for Irish based clients.
