S&W advises on sale of Prestige Detection Systems
S&W, the fast-growing professional services group, has led the sale of Prestige Detection Systems in Limerick, which operates across commercial and community service sectors and has developed its offering around technical capability and compliance with recognised design and installation standards.
S&W’s Corporate Finance team in the Dublin office, led by Con Casey and supported by Elisandra Borsoi, provided sell-side lead advisory services to Prestige Detection Systems Ltd (PDSL) on its sale to Ranger Fire and Security.
PDSL are experts in the supply, installation, servicing and maintenance of fire alarms, fire suppression and intruder alarm systems with a focus on customers in the Munster region.
Established by Managing Director Dave Enright in December 2005, the company changed its business model in 2012 from operating as a subcontractor to the industry to supplying their services directly to end user customers. It has since built an excellent reputation in the market enjoying high demand for its products and services.
Prior to forming Prestige, Dave Enright worked for Siemens Building Technologies, Preussag Fire Protection, and Kidde Fire Protection. He will remain in post with his leadership team and he will continue to oversee operations and build capability within the team.

The deal is Ranger’s fourth acquisition in Ireland following KSS Fire Suppression, B-Safe Group and Aqua Fire Prevention. Ranger Fire and Security is backed by London private equity investor Hyperion Equity Partners.
