Public Sector Advisory (PSA) encompasses a range of services, processes, resources and tools designed to support the management and financial operations of public sector organisations. Public sector accounting and advisory services support government agencies, public sector entities (both national and local), as well as state funded charities and not for profits. These organisations do not operate in the same way as the private sector and operate in a unique context due to the public sector duty which is to be adhered to.

S&W have also built new services responding to the evolving needs of the public sector. These include a specialised internal audit service team and proposition, to support the increasing need for outsourcing of internal audits in public sector departments and agencies.

We have developed scaled grant administration outsource services to deliver on the increasing needs of funding agencies, whilst our dedicated accounting and finance business outsource team provide public sector accounting, accounts preparation, compliance and payroll services.
