Mary has worked with a variety of clients, of all sizes and across various industry sectors.

She assists her clients in developing and implementing financial and operational strategies. This includes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, advising on financial planning, overseeing financial reporting and change management.

Mary’s areas of expertise encompass business outsourcing services, statutory financial reporting and management accounts, business planning and finance applications, succession planning, human resource management, cloud accounting software solutions, payroll, company secretarial, and VAT compliance services.

Experience

Mary is an experienced finance professional with front-line general management, financial reporting, business planning and strategy experience.

Mary joined Parfrey Murphy in 1989 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. Having spent 6 years working in corporate finance in the banking and energy industries in the UK, Mary rejoined Parfrey Murphy as a manager in 2003 and was appointed partner in January 2021. Parfrey Murphy was acquired by MC2 Accountants in February 2022 and Mary became a partner in the merged firm. Mary joined S&W in 2025 with the acquisition of MC2 Accountants. Mary’s client portfolio includes most business sectors from owner managed businesses to medium size private companies across various industry sectors.

Mary is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI).
