Helping you prepare for the mandatory payrolling of benefits
This webinar will guide you through what you need to do to prepare, while also answering key questions you may have.
About the event
From April 2027, the shift to the mandatory payrolling of benefits will begin – a significant change from existing P11D reporting cycles. Is your organisation prepared for the new rules?
There are a range of considerations that employers need to factor in, including new data requirements to enable real-time reporting, ensuring tax codes for staff are correct, system updates, stakeholder communications and cashflow implications. As a result, employers need to start preparing now.
If incorrectly handled, the consequences of any failures can be significant for both employers and their employees. Poor implementation planning could ultimately result in significant reputational damage, unhappy employees, a full HMRC audit and, if unpaid tax and Class 1A NICs due on benefits are owed to HMRC, a potential need to reprocess months of payroll data to make corrections.
This webinar will guide you through what you need to do to prepare, while also answering key questions you may have.
After this webinar, attendees will:
• Be aware of their responsibilities and the timelines involved
• Be able to assess whether their current procedures are adequate
• Be prepared for any questions employees have about the changes
