Helen is accountancy business services advisor with 25 years' experience helping high growth, entrepreneurial business to achieve their financial and business ambitions. She is the Regional Managing Partner for Bristol and heads up the local Business Outsourcing Services Team.

Experience

Skilled in accounting-related compliance and outsourced services, Helen supports her clients from early stage through to exit.  She has a varied portfolio of sectors, with particular specialism in advising tech businesses across multiple verticals. Examples include: fintech, cyber security, agencies, medtech, AI, animatronics, SAAS, mixed reality, realtech, gaming, product development, greentech and experiencetech. 

Helen is a cloud technology enthusiast and is passionate about the accounting efficiencies and agility available to businesses through automation. Linking to this she heads up the Technology sector initiative for the firm in the Bristol area.

Notable achievements

  • First female regional managing partner for the firm in the South West since the business was founded.
  • Successfully placing members of her team for short-term secondments within large corporate environments; providing experienced resource to assist with year-end reporting and one-off projects.
  • Chairs the firms regional tech sector initiative team and is a national champion for advising clients on the use of cloud technology.
  • Working with a mid-tier multinational group to ensure that their tax and accounts were compliant in 15 different countries.
  • Working with USA headed global groups expanding into the UK for the first time.
  • Supporting global groups with the automation of their group consolidations for both management and statutory reporting.
