Stephen leads our Transaction Tax team. He specialises in advising private equity houses and corporates on all aspects of corporate finance activity including acquisitions, MBOs, disposals, carve outs, refinancing and join ventures. Stephen has a particular focus on supporting clients in the mid-market space.
Experience
Stephen joined Evelyn Partners in 2022 after more than 15 years working in the Big Four. He has significant experience on providing tax due diligence (both buy-side and vendor due diligence) and tax structuring.
Stephen has developed a good commercial understanding of the non tax issues on deals from a secondment in corporate restructuring.
Stephen's experience enables him to consider the requirements of all shareholders, fund and portfolio companies when delivering advice advice with a clear focus on understanding the investment life cycle.
