The rise of the REIT – Tax and commercial advantages for transactions and capital raising
Our upcoming real estate breakfast will be focussing on real estate investment trusts (REITs).
Since the relaxation of the listing requirement in REIT legislation in April 2022, the number of private REITs in the market has soared. We’ll be exploring what makes the UK private REIT structure so attractive to investors across sectors. This will include an overview of the tax attributes and the commercial advantages that can be achieved in both a transaction setting, and in capital raising.
