    Alun joins Proteus in April '24 and brings nearly three decades of financial markets & technology expertise to our team. He is best known as Managing Partner of the team that developed Tyche, a state of the art insurance modelling suite, but he has previously built businesses in economic modelling, asset liability modelling and trading solutions for some of the worlds largest pension schemes, insurers and banks. He is a contagious evangelist who delivers best-in-class solutions that help clients gain insight from their data and improve business efficiency. He still codes (just)! Academically, Alun holds a BSc (1st Hons) in Physics, an MSc in Finance (London Business School), and a diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from Austin University, Texas.

    Andrew has over 20 years’ merges & acquisitions and investment experience as a corporate lawyer. Having also been a corporate financier at Credo Group and an in-house lawyer at Capita Group, Andrew brings strong commercial experience to his clients’ transactions. Andrew advises a broad spectrum of clients and has a particular focus on the financial services and technology (including fintech) sectors. He advises clients on public and private mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, flotations and off market fundraisings (private equity, venture capital and high net worth investment), acting for companies such as Directa Plus Plc, high profile scale-up company, DueDil and Tech track 100 company Blis.

    Anthony, a Senior Manager, became part of the Payments Services Team at Thistle Initiatives in 2023. Prior to this, he spent three and a half years at the FCA, including two and a half years in the Payments and E-money department. Before joining the regulator, he worked as a business consultant for two years.

    Jamie is a Partner at Solano Partners and has 10+ years of experience advising both public & private markets companies on raising growth capital. Jamie spent most of his career at Rothschild & Co, advising largely on technology fundraisings and led coverage of the European & North American VC / Growth Equity / Family office / PE community . Jamie focuses on working with technology businesses with both B2B and B2C business models in areas such as Data Analytics, AI, DevOps, Payments, InsurTech and Mobility. Jamie graduated from Bournemouth University with a BA Hons in Business Studies & Financial Services.
