Experience
Poen’s primary focus lies with the development and review of financial models used by clients to support their transactions and strategic planning processes. He is a qualified South African chartered accountant and has been assisting clients in the financial modelling field for over 20 years. His clients have ranged from smaller privately owned businesses to multinational organisations across a wide range of industries and types of models.
Prior to joining Evelyn Partners, Poen was with EY’s Modelling Team within Valuation, Modelling and Economics for over twenty years. Eighteen of these were with the UK team and three setting up Financial Modelling as a formal service offering for the South African firm.
