Experience

Rob provides valuation services for a wide range of purposes, including accounting valuations, such as share options for share-based payment calculations and intangible valuations in purchase price allocations. In addition he provides share valuations for various tax purposes, including for group restructures, management incentive schemes or post-tax valuation checks.

He also provides expertise in commercial valuation work, to help resolve shareholder disputes and to provide insight to aid negotiations.

Notable achievements

  • Providing annual share valuations for a number of businesses to support management long term incentive plan (LTIP) schemes.
  • Agreeing share valuations with HMRC for enterprise management incentives (EMI) schemes, employee shareholder shares, flowering shares and for many other tax-related purposes.
  • Preparing complex ‘Monte Carlo’ option valuations for a number of quoted company share option schemes.
