The Joint Administrators of William Blake House Northants (the "Charity"), Adam Stephens and Chris Allen of S&W Partners LLP, are delighted to announce the successful completion of the sale of the Charity's residential and supported living services to Camphill Milton Keynes Communities (Camphill MK), marking an important milestone in securing the long-term future of the services.

The transaction delivers a positive outcome for residents, employees, families and the wider William Blake House community, providing long-term stability for the services following the administration of the Charity.

The successful completion of the transaction represents the culmination of the Joint Administrators' efforts since their appointment on 1 April 2026 to secure a long-term future for the Charity's services while maintaining uninterrupted care for residents throughout the administration process.

Following completion, Camphill MK has assumed responsibility for the residential and supported living services previously operated by the Charity.

All staff supporting the residential and supported living services have transferred to Camphill MK, with 72 employees transferring as part of the transaction, helping to maintain continuity, experience and familiarity for residents as the services move forward under new ownership.

Completion of the transaction secures the long-term continuation of the services and provides certainty for residents, families and employees. The transition has been carefully planned by the Joint Administrators and Camphill MK, working closely with stakeholders to ensure continuity of care and a seamless handover. As a result, residents will continue receiving support with minimal disruption, while the services benefit from a stable platform for the future.

Adam Stephens, Joint Administrator at S&W Partners LLP, said:

"When we were appointed on 1 April 2026, our objective was to secure a sustainable future for the services while protecting the interests of residents, employees and stakeholders. We are delighted to have successfully completed this transaction, which achieves that objective and represents an excellent outcome for everyone involved.

“We are grateful to employees and stakeholders for their constructive support throughout the administration, which has helped us secure this positive outcome."

Chris Allen, Joint Administrator at S&W Partners LLP, added:
"Completion marks the culmination of months of hard work and collaboration across the William Blake House community. We are grateful to everyone who has played a part in achieving this successful outcome."

"We are particularly pleased that residents will continue to receive the care and support they rely upon within an organisation that shares the Charity's ethos and community-focused approach. This transaction also provides certainty for employees and creates a strong foundation for the future development of the services under Camphill MK's stewardship."

"We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who has supported the process from start to finish and helped us achieve this positive outcome."

The Joint Administrators will continue to progress the remaining matters in the administration, including the marketing and sale of The Country Centre in Northampton and the associated land, which did not form part of the transaction with Camphill MK.

Kingsley Napley LLP acted as legal advisers to the Joint Administrators on the sale, led by Nick Hughes and Lucy Edwards in their Restructuring & Insolvency team.
