Experience

Claire has over 20 years’ experience advising owners and their businesses on their tax affairs. She was Big Four-trained and her experience covers all types of business tax issues, from compliance to planning.

Her clients include small personal service companies, family investment companies, large trading groups, professional practices or FCA-regulated limited liability partnerships, as well as leading the Evelyn Partners tax services to charities and housing associations.

  • Research and development (R&D) tax relief opportunities used for clients to secure tax repayments, in some cases of over £1million.
  • Advising on the merger of professional practices, acquisition of businesses and companies, demerger of groups and general structuring and tax clearances.
