Kersten is a Real Estate expert with more than 25 years of experience of advising stakeholders in the sector.

He has deep expertise with corporate, private equity and financial investors, ranging from funds, fund managers to family offices on both buy-side and sell-side due diligence, structuring of UK and cross-border transactions and the repatriation of funds. Kersten also gets involved in the refinancing and optimisation of property portfolios.

Kersten has worked on a number of notable property transactions including:

• the set-up & financing of a London luxury hotel for an international hotel group
• the acquisition diligence and structuring of several high-value London office properties
• the set-up of an international real estate fund to invest into care homes as well as the acquisition of care homes across the UK and Ireland
