Sean joined the firm in 2025 from a global real estate consultancy and leads the Business Rates Tax service.

He has over 15 years’ experience advising landlords and occupiers nationwide across a broad range of property types.

Experience 

Sean has a strong track record of advising FTSE 100 corporates, SMEs, and owner-managed businesses.

He has experience across all valuation methods, with particular expertise in the rental valuation approach, advising on a broad range of business rates assessments.

Notable client work and achievements 

Delivers a bespoke client service focused on minimising business rates liabilities throughout each Revaluation cycle.

Has generated over £50 million in savings for clients through extensive expertise in the appeals process, including critical analysis of Valuation Office Agency assessments, submission of relief applications, and challenges to Local Authorities.

Provides specialist advice to in-house Finance, Tax, and Estates teams to support accurate budgeting and forecasting of business rates liabilities.

Experienced in business rates audit work, successfully securing historic credits from local billing authorities.
