The Autumn Budget 2025: What do the announcements mean for you and your business?

Speculation continues as to what could be announced at the Autumn Budget. Ahead of her Labour Party conference speech, Rachel Reeves said that “the world has changed” when asked if she stood by her previous pledge not to increase borrowing or taxes. She has reiterated her commitment to protect “working people”, reaffirming the Labour party manifesto pledge not to increase the main taxes they pay, but tax rises are widely expected.
