S&W launch new Regulatory Consulting service with new London based partner appointment & new team hire

S&W, the leading professional services group, has appointed Andrew Jacobs FCSI, as a partner in its growing advisory consulting team to launch and lead the new S&W Regulatory Consulting service.

Andrew, who was most recently a partner at the global legal services firm, DWF, has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services regulation, working across a number of sub-sectors within financial services and adjacent sectors, dealing with a range of complex regulatory issues for clients both in the UK and internationally. He was responsible for the launch and growth of the Regulatory Consulting practice at DWF. Alongside Andrew, S&W also welcomed previous team members, Sarah Jackson and Patrick McGovern, with further hires set to join in the coming weeks.

Andrew has also been a partner at 2 top 10 accounting firms previously, developing their consulting practices by providing regulatory expertise to clients. Additionally, he has held board level positions at a number of wealth, advisory and distribution firms, making him well-versed in issues faced by clients and well placed as a Trusted Advisor to regulated firms. Andrew has also undertaken a significant number of Skilled Person’s reviews across a range of the FCA’s Skilled Person Lots and continues to play a key role in the direction of regulation though his work with the FCA and also as a newly elected director of the Association of Professional Compliance Consultants (APCC).

Based in S&W’s London office, Andrew will develop the Regulatory Consulting proposition over the next few months, bringing his extensive financial services regulatory knowledge to existing and new clients, while enhancing the range of expert consulting services that S&W is able to offer its clients.
