Amy is a partner within the Business Outsourcing Services (BOS) team as well as the Head of Technology for the team, and supports a portfolio of ambitious high-growth companies.

Experience

The work Amy's team undertakes ranges from a fully outsourced finance function, including the bookkeeping, management accounting and reporting at board level, all the way through to the year-end statutory accounts.

Amy always overlays this with a technology edge to ensure clients have an appropriate app stack that is future proofed for their growth and automates much of their back office tasks allowing them to focus on growing their business and doing the things they love.

Amy is a firm believer that no two clients are the same. She takes a holistic view and creates a tailored service that meets the client’s needs now and flexes this as those needs evolve over time. A great example of this is one of her clients has a junior staff member in-house who undertakes bookkeeping tasks that her team dovetails around. A big part of their role is to support and train this individual to enable them to undertake more advanced tasks over time, with her team's role to flex around them.

When it comes to the statutory reporting she delivers an efficient process. Filing promptly after the year end ensures the events of that financial period are still fresh in everyone’s minds and frees stakeholders up to look forward to the year ahead.

Her key focus has been working with ambitious entrepreneurs where she adds value advising on all aspects of accounting, cloud accounting software, business plans and forecasts, statutory year-end accounting, and all things scale-up related.

Amy has worked with businesses helping them to grow, take onboard investment, build a future proofed efficient finance team, and advised them through the obstacles that present themselves with any growth journey. 

She is industry agnostic, having worked with clients across a board spectrum of businesses. Examples include the recruitment sector, technology firms, family offices, manufacturing, project based businesses, and retail, ecommerce, healthcare, hotels and leisure sectors to name a few.

As Head of Technology within the Business Outsourcing Services team, Amy has a passion for cloud based accounting applications and how they can create a truly effective business managed on real time financial facts rather than hunches.
