With more than 25 years of corporate restructuring and business turnaround experience, Cameron specialises in assisting companies that are facing complex financial challenges. He has advised local companies and global corporations across most industry sectors as well as numerous professional and financial services businesses.

Notable client work and achievements

  • Cameron was a joint administrator of Everest 2020 Limited, a British double glazing and home improvement company, securing an asset sale to enable completion of customer orders where possible. 
  • Cameron was a joint administrator of TM Lewin & Sons Limited, the UK menswear retailer, securing a sale of the online part of the business and ensuring continuity of the iconic brand in the online retail marketplace. 
  • Cameron was a joint administrator of FutureFuels, the UK based renewable energy group. The administration of the investment entities involved the preservation of asset value and recovery of funds via litigation. 
  • Cameron was a joint administrator of German Listed Bonds, an investment vehicle, requiring cross-border investigation of funds invested into western Europe and litigation thereof. 
  • Cameron was a joint administrator of Cocoon Wealth, a UK based private investment company, which involved litigation in respect of alleged fraudulent use of company funds. 
  • Cameron was named Corporate Restructuring Insolvency Practitioner of the Year in 2012.  

Professional qualifications/memberships

Cameron is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and is licensed as an insolvency practitioner by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). He is also a member of R3, the UK’s restructuring and insolvency trade association, as well as the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).

S&W team comment on latest company insolvencies data for construction industry

New data published today by the Insolvency Service shows that there were 367 construction insolvencies in February 2025, the highest they have been since June 2024. This is a 20% increase from January 2025 (306) and 3% increase from February 2024 (355).

The team complete a sale of Utopia Distribution Services Limited to DP World Logistics UK Limited

On 13 December 2024, Mark Supperstone and Ben Woodthorpe were appointed as joint administrators to Utopia Distribution Services Limited (UDS or the ‘Company’), a physical entertainment distributor. Immediately following the appointment, a sale of the business and assets was completed to DP World Logistics UK Limited (‘DP World’), the supply chain solutions provider.
