Garry Lee

Garry is both a qualified accountant and Insolvency Practitioner who specialises in advising companies on the most appropriate option available to them in their current financial position. For a solvent company this could be a solvent liquidation to extract value or rationalise a group structure or for an entity experiencing financial distress then advising on either restructuring debt or a managed wind down of the business. 

Experience

Garry has worked in practice for more than 35 years, initially in audit and general practice and the last 15 years in Restructuring & Recovery. Garry has extensive experience in dealing with Motor Retail as well as companies in a wide range of industries including construction & leisure.

Notable client work and achievements

• Garry is actively involved in the Southampton office's CSR activities which reflects his passion for wanting to give something back to the community.
• Garry also assisted the London RRS team with asset tracing in a high-profile financial services case that has resulted in a successful court case against the perpetrators of a large-scale fraud.
• Garry is an active member of R3: The Association of Business Recovery Professionals, which is the trade association for the entire community of the UK's insolvency and restructuring professionals and is a past chair of the Southern & Thames Valley Region.
