Kelly specialises in performing financial and valuation analyses of businesses and equity for strategic and transaction purposes to help clients understand the value impact of their investments, strengthen their negotiating position and pursue strategic initiatives to maximise returns. She analyses key value drivers, risks and opportunities to provide valuation advice that balances commercial acumen with robust views that stand up to technical scrutiny.
Kelly also performs valuations of businesses, equity and IP for financial reporting, restructuring, tax and dispute purposes.
Having co-led PwC UK’s Industrial Products and Services Valuations Team for 7 years prior to S&W, Kelly brings strong experience within the business and professional services, aerospace and defence, construction and engineering, manufacturing and industrial sectors. Her global big 4 experience spans over 20 years, 6 of which from New York.

- Identified and quantified day 1 purchase price adjustments of up to $30m as well as post-deal upside of up to $40m for a PE fund seeking to acquire a distributor
- Highlighted key value adjustments to increase the purchase price of a going concern business being sold as part of the administration process of a larger group by over £20m
- Applied valuation and financial analysis to help a privately owned business secure a JV partner to turn around a business and generate shareholder returns
- Assessed the value impact of different strategic options being considered by a large privately-owned industrials conglomerate
- Performed valuation analysis to identify a return of at least £1bn / 2x money multiple within a 3-4 year period on a P2P investment of a £3bn market cap FTSE 250 business
- Performed value analysis of a FTSE 100 business to identify a division that was profitable yet value dilutive to the overall group
