Kevin Parish

Kevin works with clients ranging from owner managed businesses to listed plc’s on solvent reorganisation projects and formal insolvency appointments as well as advising distressed companies and their stakeholders.  He describes his role as revolving around the enhancement, extraction and recovery of value for business stakeholders, combining a strong technical and analytical background with practical application. Kevin is a Chartered Accountant and Licensed Insolvency Practitioner.  

Experience

Kevin has over 25 years’ experience dealing with restructuring and insolvency matters. This includes supporting businesses and external stakeholders through challenging circumstances and in dealing with financial distress.  He has a wide range of industry experience accumulated over his career including engineering, professional and financial services, motor, and property.  That spread is reflected in the clients he works with.  

Notable client work and achievements

Kevin has been involved in the sale and rescue of a number of large motor retailers, securing jobs and enhancing value for third parties.  He has overseen trading in administration with particular experience in manufacturing and engineering sectors.  He has supported a number of PLC and private equity backed businesses in rationalising their group structures as well as regularly working with owner managed businesses to efficiently extract shareholder value on retirement and ensure an orderly end to the company.  Following the banking crisis he was involved in the insolvency outcome modelling of a failed deposit taker.
