Mark leads S&W’s PR and internal communications team. He has 15 years’ experience helping professional and financial services companies raise their profile in national, regional and specialist media.
After graduating from Cardiff University with a degree in business and subsequently completing a masters in newspaper journalism at Nottingham Trent University, Mark worked as a journalist in East Yorkshire, covering business and general news for the Hull Daily Mail. He then spent a decade working for PR agencies before joining Smith & Williamson (now S&W) in 2017.

Business owners re-think exit plans as tax changes and market turbulence loom
New research from professional services group S&W, which polled 500 UK business owners, has revealed that more than four in ten (44%) of those working towards an exit have postponed their plans over the last year. Significantly, almost as many have brought their exit forward (41%). Only 15% say their timescales remain unchanged.
