Financial statement audit, and related assurance. Focussing principally on privately owned, owner-managed and Private Equity backed businesses. As a true mid-market professional Mark has worked across many sectors, but has particular expertise in the following sectors: technology, software, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, manufacturing, media, leisure and tourism.

Experience

Mark has spent his career working with predominantly privately owned businesses, from start-ups to large global groups, many of which have been private equity backed. Additionally, Mark has worked with many UK subsidiaries of overseas groups.

Mark has extensive experience providing statutory audit and assurance services, this typically includes reporting under UK GAAP and IFRS. Alongside statutory audit work, Mark supports clients in meeting their business objectives including achieving a strong governance framework and dealing with business change. He particularly enjoys having the opportunity to share the experiences and knowledge gained, from working closely with clients, to provide insights and challenge to other businesses on their own growth journey.

Prior to joining Evelyn Partners, Mark gained over 24 years’ experience at KPMG in the private enterprise audit practice.
