Melanie is the General Counsel for S&W.
She joined from Vanquis Banking Group plc (formerly Provident Financial plc), the London Stock Exchange listed specialist bank, where she was General Counsel and Company Secretary. Prior to this she served as Head of Corporate, Corporate Structuring at HSBC, responsible for regulatory restructurings and establishment of HSBC’s ring-fenced bank in the UK.
Melanie began her legal career at Norton Rose where she spent 10 years in the corporate finance department. She holds a degree from the University of Exeter and a post-graduate qualification from the College of Law, London.
