
Oliver advises internationally focused ultra-high net worth individuals, families and family offices as well as their structures. He advises on a wide range of private client, private company and trust tax and governance issues. Oliver’s current work includes tax multidisciplinary and multi-jurisdictional project management; advice to internationally mobile family offices including tax pre-immigration/emigration planning; funding UK expenditure; structuring for the acquisition, build and maintenance of luxury assets; advice on business interest structures; and advice relating to tax investigations.
Experience
Before moving to S&W Oliver worked at US Law Firm Baker McKenzie advising ultra-high net worth international families. Before that Oliver spent time at big four firms Deloitte and PwC advising international families on a range of tax and accounting matters, and before that qualified at Moore Stephens LLP where he worked closely with large Greek shipping industry families.
Notable work and achievements

Designed and established a new family office layered structure for a Middle Eastern family, to provide an administration function across numerous European and GCC jurisdictions.

Acted for an entrepreneurial family to advise on succession, governance, tax and accounting issues prior to the establishment of a Family Office, and the successful establishment and implementation of the UK based Family Office.
