Experience
20 years experience in Indirect Tax and VAT, starting with HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) and then in practice since 2008, Owen worked in Big Four prior to joining Evelyn Partners.
A VAT generalist, having dealt with the majority of sectors and specialisms throughout his career, Owen has experience in all areas of indirect tax, with particular focus on helping private equity backed portfolio companies, retail businesses and third sector clients such as Charities, Independent Schools and Government Departments.

Acted as VAT Business Partner for a Japanese-owned manufacturing business with global operations, under a Tax Managed Service whilst at Big Four.
Client secondment to a leading global veterinary business as Head of VAT.
Extensive involvement in VAT litigation in UK Courts.
