Experience

Toby has a broad range of experience advising clients, from start-ups to large multinational companies, across multiple sectors in both the UK and New Zealand. Toby’s speciality lies in developing R&D Tax claim methodologies that are efficient and robust, ensuring clients maximise their benefit from Government Incentives.

While in New Zealand, Toby helped advise Private Sector companies and New Zealand Inland Revenue tax authorities in relation to the deployment of the real-time R&D data capture process. This experience has assisted Toby with implementing real-time R&D tax claim methodologies in the UK.

Before working within R&D tax and incentives, Toby worked as a chemical/process engineer from the energy industry and achieved his chartership through IChemE.
