Our assessment process

We also recognise you have options, so we want you to be able to explore if we're the right match for you.
Welcoming and friendly over email and in the interviews.
What to expect
Applications for our programmes open in September. We recruit on a rolling basis un-til all spots are filled or we've received enough applications. This can happen quickly, sometimes in just a few days or weeks, so we recommend applying as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
- Some processes vary but in general there are four steps:
- Step 1: Online application and assessments
- Step 2: Telephone interview for school leavers; video interview for graduates, placement students and interns
- Step 3: Written exercise and Associate Q&A
- Step 4: Final interview
At every stage, you'll get all the details on what to expect and how to prepare for suc-cess. You'll have a dedicated recruiter to support and guide you whenever needed. And they will be the ones to review your progress, not AI.
Online application & assessments
You'll complete three online tasks: a 10-minute questionnaire to understand you and your ideal working environment, a 15-minute numerical reasoning test, and a 15-minute verbal reasoning test. Feedback will be provided within ten working days.
Tips:
- You’ll have access to our preparation hub for the numerical and verbal reasoning tests, so make sure you explore it fully.
- The tests are timed, so ensure you're fully aware of how many questions you have to answer!
Video interview
You'll record answers to four questions (two motivational and two competency-based). You can re-record once, but the second attempt will be final. Recruiters, not AI, will re-view your responses. Feedback will be provided within ten working days.
Tips:
- Treat it just like a face-to-face interview. Do your research, practice your responses using the STAR method, and let your motivation and enthusiasm shine through.
- It's okay to refer to your notes, but try to come across naturally so it’s an engaging conversation.
Telephone interviews for school leavers
You'll have a 15-minute 1-2-1 phone call designed to make you feel comfortable while discussing a mix of motivational and competency-based questions. Remember, it's a two-way conversation, so come prepared with your own questions too! You’ll receive feedback within ten working days.
Tips
- Prepare as thoroughly as you would for a face-to-face interview: research, prac-tice your answers using the STAR method and clearly express your motivation and enthusiasm.
- Treat it as a conversation and let your personality shine through. Ask about what matters most to you.
Written exercise and Q&A with Associates (virtual)
This will be a two-hour online session.
In the first hour, you'll dive into a real-business scenario to showcase your analytical and written communication skills. No need to prepare—everything you need will be provided during the session.
After a comfort break, you'll spend up to 30 minutes with our associates. They'll share their experiences and answer your questions. This part is informal, so relax and feel free to ask plenty of questions.
You’ll receive feedback within five working days.
Tips
- Manage your time carefully. You’re more likely to score higher by addressing all tasks rather than focusing too much on just one.
- Set aside a few minutes at the end to review your responses and make any final ad-justments before submitting.
Final interview
For graduate, placement or internship applications, your final interview will take place online. If you’re a school leaver, you’ll be invited to join us in the office.
The interview will last 45-60 minutes, during which you’ll meet with two senior members of the team you’ve applied to. They’ll do their best to help you feel comfortable and confident so you can be yourself. This is also your opportunity to ask questions and determine if we’re the right fit for you.
You’ll hear back within two working days. Your recruiter will call to provide specific feedback, so whether or not you receive an offer, you’ll gain helpful insights. We’ll also ask for your feedback, as it’s something we truly value.
Tips:
- Thorough preparation and research will help calm any nerves and give you the confidence to showcase your motivation and enthusiasm.
- Be yourself. We’re just as keen to learn about you as you are to learn about us.
- If you need a moment to gather your thoughts before answering, let your inter-viewers know – it’s absolutely fine.
- Come armed with questions! It’s important to figure out if we’re the right match for you, too.
Next steps
Once you receive an offer, you’ll be introduced to your buddy right away. They’ll help you decide if this is the right opportunity for you and can connect you with other team members.
If you accept our offer, the team will be excited to meet you in person. You’ll be warmly invited to our office to meet your new colleagues.
There may be a few months before you officially join us in September, but we’ll stay in touch. As your start date approaches, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to get to know us better, meet more members of the team and ease any first-day nerves.
