S&W strengthens transactions practice with new partner appointment

S&W, the leading professional services group, has appointed Jonathan Broadis as a partner in its growing transactions practice with a remit to build out the team’s value creation advisory offering.
Jonathan has over 25 years’ experience as a value creation leader and was most recently UK M&A consulting lead for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Prior to this, he was a partner at Deloitte Financial Advisory in Canada and Chile. His primary focus is on financial, operational and technology due diligence, synergy development, and pre and post M&A deal integration.
Jonathan will help lead on pre-to post-deal operational assessments and subsequent value improvement across all market sectors and client sizes. He has a strong background in technology and telecommunications, and retail and consumer, having spent three years working with ASDA on its Walmart Separation Programme until mid-2024.
He is co-located with the transaction services team based in London and Manchester, where he will build out S&W’s value creation advisory offering alongside other M&A services with the transactions team, whilst developing trusted advisor relationships with his clients.
Jonathan commented: “It’s a great privilege to join one the fastest growing M&A advisory teams in the UK at S&W to build out our value creation capability. I look forward to working with my new colleagues to deliver successful growth aligned with the firm’s broader strategy.”
Mark Benka, head of transaction services and partner at S&W, added: “I am thrilled that Jonathan has joined the transaction services team at S&W to further broaden our capabilities and expertise in value creation to support our clients in making their deals successful. His vast experience and proven track record across a variety of situations will be invaluable to clients, such as identifying synergies and cost or efficiency improvements and critically, through to implementation. I am looking forward to working alongside him and his team.”
