
Adam is an experienced accountancy and business valuation expert witness with a specialism in expert determination. Over Adam's 35-year career he has acted as lead advisor in M&A deals, provided transactions support to clients and prepared financial due diligence reports. Adam's work as an expert witness in private client and matrimonial cases covers contentious business valuations, quantum of damages, professional negligence and completion accounts disputes. Adam has also been an auditor with particular expertise in mutual trading businesses, charities, and solicitors reporting to the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
Experience
An experienced chartered accountant and forensic expert, Adam also acts as lead advisor on M&A deals for local clients and been an auditor reporting on UK statutory accounts for companies. A graduate of Cambridge University, he has worked at a Big 4 firm and now leads the corporate finance & forensic services offering at our Thames Valley office. Over his career, Adam has worked with small businesses, charities, professional practices, financial services businesses, banks, major international clients and sovereign governments.

Adam has given oral expert evidence before the English High Court and the Family Court.
He has been a non-executive director of the Buckinghamshire growth hub, Buckinghamshire Business First since 2011
Adam is a former Chair of the Network of Independent Forensic Accountants (for five years from 2015 to 2020)

The Government continues to ramp up its efforts to tackle crime in the waste sector
The Government has announced new measures to tackle economic crime and money laundering in the waste sector. The Environment Agency has launched an Economic Crime Unit to investigate ‘waste crimes’ (such as fly-tipping and landfill tax evasion) and money laundering in the sector, and exercise powers to freeze and seize assets. The Unit will work with other law enforcement agencies such as the police and HMRC to gather intelligence and proactively pursue criminals.
