Caroline Hadfield, Director

Caroline specialises in the real estate sector, but also has a number of other clients ranging from entrepreneurial groups to large corporates. She also has a wide range of experience in the M&A sector, from tax due diligence to tax structuring on acquisitions, disposals or financing projects.

Experience

Caroline worked as an in-house Tax Director for a property developer/investor prior to joining S&W, where she was responsible for all areas of tax. She has significant experience in M&A transactions, and her background has provided a breadth of experience across all taxes, together with a very commercial outlook.

Notable client work and achievements

Caroline has over 25 years experience of providing corporation tax advice, and has recently joined S&W from Vita, where she led all group tax matters including the acquisition and funding of development sites, international expansion (Spain, India, UAE, US), securing over significant amounts of blue-chip debt, and completing disposals worth more than £1.5bn
