Mark is a hugely experienced Audit Partner and has spent his career working with dynamic, high growth organisations. As a result he typically works with businesses that are on a journey - whether that be looking for a potential exit, taking on additional funding to support organic growth, or through M&A activity. 

He is also the firm's National Head of Audit and Assurance, responsible for driving the continued success of our Audit practice, through growth in our chosen markets and investments in our people and technology, whilst also ensuring quality remains at the forefront of our agenda.

Experience

Mark has over 20 years of experience supporting dynamic growing businesses to scale their operations both within the UK and overseas. His clients are have mainly been in the wider technology or property sectors, although he has worked with businesses across a range of industries from universities to manufacturing businesses.

Mark's focus is on working with privately owned and PE-backed companies, and has also supported many AiM listed companies. He has extensive experience of the accounting, financial reporting, internal control and governance issues facing businesses with specific knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.

He has worked with his clients through numerous transactions supporting private fund-raisings and IPOs, acquisitions (both buy and sell side), and is familiar with the key issues stakeholders look for, both regulatory and practical, to ensure a smooth transaction processes.

FRS 102 changes: Real estate
